The foundation was started by current New Orlean Saint and former Milford graduate Zach Strief and his family.  The foundation was started with the intent to give back to the areas that have given so much to us.  Having grown up in Milford Ohio, Zach appreciates the oppurtunities given to him and wants to be sure that the kids in his hometown of Cincinnati are given equal if not better oppurtunities.  
     Having now been a two-year resident of New Orleans it is very apparent to us all that the rebuilding effort in the wake of Hurricane Katrina is an ongoing process.  Many after-school activities and organizations are still not available to the kids in the Gulf South area and that is our main focus right now.  Please join us in our efforts to help enrich the lives of the children in that part of the country.  

    The "Dream Big" Foundation is dedicated to providing opportunities to children in the form of educational growth and life skills lessons coming from positive role models.  The Zach Strief "Dream Big" Foundation, a fund of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, is focused on providing a financial commitment to assist children in their physical and mental development.
